Can I marry my first cousin?

Im from malaysia and im fall in love with my first cousin (my mother’s brother son). Is it possible for me to marry in church? we were in love for 8 years and still waiting for the approval from church. father, can i marry him in church?? or what else i should do to marry with him? i dont want to go against to the church rule but in same time i dont want to lose him. can you explain father? is it a sin??
