Can I pray for an intention when praying the daily rosary..? OR can the intention only be for the 54 novena

Making another post.
I want to make an intention ( for myself).I am praying the rosary daily…I didn’t start off to pray for an intention…but just now…an intention came to my head…
I would really wish if Mother would answer my intention…although it does seem impossible…so…is it ok to pray for an intention when praying the rosary daily, even when your not doing the 54 novena?

and when praying for an intention…should I be specific…asking for what I REALLY want even though it may seem impossible.? and believe that mary will make an intercession on my behalf to Jesus?

You can pray for your intentions any time you pray the Rosary. The Rosary is generally a private devotion so you can ask for The Blessed Mother to intercede for your needs or for the needs or intentions of others. I wouldn’t ask to win the lottery 'though! However, you can ask or pray for financial, spiritual or health needs for yourself or others. You can pray an intention on each bead or on the whole Rosary. Just try to keep your intentions honest, simple and humble. Mary will watch over you even if you don’t have an intention, but giving her honor for being the Mother of Our Lord. She is a Queen, don’tcha know. Nothing is impossible.

Mary tells us, “What you shall ask through my Rosary you shall obtain.” So yes, go ahead and pray for seemingly unattainable requests! She also promises that you will have the entire celestial court as intercessors to Jesus, so yes, Mary is included in that.

Add your intentions for the rosary at any time. Prayers aren’t time-bound. Of course, your intentions can be personal in nature.

Keep at it every day! The rosary is a glorious fountain of grace! Short of receiving the Eucharist in Mass and confession, the rosary is the spiritual equivalent of drinking from a fire hose. You will be amazed at how your life is transformed through the rosary.
