Can I pray to Abraham?

I know that I can pray to the saints, but can I pray to Abraham? Are there any statements from the Church in regards to this?
 
Sure. After all, Jesus told a story in which someone did exactly that (Luke 16:19-31). The holy people of the Old Testament generally are considered to be in heaven (cf. Heb. 11) and may be treated as saints.
