Can I receive communion now?

Hello,

I recently recieved an annulment and want to know the following:

I have been married for 10 years to a Catholic woman who also has not received.
She was never previously married.

Can we receive communion immediately or must we wait to be married in the church again?

You need to have your current civil marriage validated before the two of you can receive communion. Given the information you provided, I would imagine that it should be a relatively simple and painless process and not take too long.
