Can I receive Lutheran Communion?

I attend a Lutheran Church (ELCA) with my wife, and still go to my Catholic Church as well.

Why is it wrong to receive communion there, if they believe it is the real presence of Jesus? Are they being fooled or is all because they do not have valid Holy Orders/Sacraments?

I ask this because it is a real conflict in my soul. I want to do the right thing but also I do not want to embarrass my wife and the Lutheran pastors.
