Can I receive the precious blood and not the host?

Yes, it is possible to do so, although it is not as common a situation as receiving only the host at Communion (which was a common practice for the laity for centuries when the chalice was not offered to the laity). In many situations, in fact, you would have to pointedly bypass receiving the host and then present yourself to receive the precious blood. Unless there is a pressing reason to do this (e.g., medical necessity), it seems pointless and perhaps even scandalous to bypass the host in order to indulge a personal idiosyncrasy, and it would seem to needlessly draw attention to oneself at a time when the congregation’s attention should be on the Lord.
