Hi i am 27 years old and have started returning to the catholic faith as an adult( was active when i was a child/ teenager). At the moment i have 2 children out of wedlock, but we are in the process of talking to our local priest about being married in the catholic church. Because i would like to be an active member of my faith i was wondering can i recieve the sacrements of penance and communion. As i wasn’t married when I had My children. I would really like to take part in the process of Lent with other members of my church.
