The Parish in which I physically reside is not meeting my spiritual needs or I believe even demonstrating proper guidance in spiritual matters in general or demonstrating or requiring members to demonstrate reverence for the Holy Eucharist or the Faith itself.
Nothing is mentioned for fear of ruffling feathers. I can not in good conscience support a parish with such practices and especially when I was in a spiritual crises last year and called office in tears asking to make appt to see a priest the first thing I was asked was if I was a member of the Parish. Even though I live here I was never able to get to see a priest or deacon and was told simply to go to confession (strictly offered only 15 min per week). and if the Priest felt I needed a meeting I could get one. I was returning to the Faith after many years of being a nominal Catholic and feeling huge guilt for several things I had done. I was looking for someone to guide me in my refound love of the Faith and Eucharist and to offer spiritual direction as I was and still am going through many trials in my life. I have found a parish which I feel will meet the spiritual needs of me and my family.
Does Canon Law forbid me to join? If so I feel this will drive more people away from the Faith. I was kneeling in front of the Tabernacle and heard loud laughing and conversing behind me and when I turned it was a Eucharistic Minister!:
