Can I take adult stem cells?

Hi, a 97-year-old gentleman (great Catholic man) gave me a supply of adult stem cell capsules (BioStem regenerating liquid biocaps) and told me he wants to take care of me and this would help. However, when I saw that these were ‘stem cells’, I of course, did double takes. Where do these adult stem cells come from? Should I politely give them back?
