Can I volunteer at the Salvation Army?

I’ve been tinking of voluntering at Salvation Army. I was told they are pro-choicese I really don’t know what to do. I have depression and keeping busy helps me with my depression. I asked one of our priest and he said that they good work. But he is investiagating the pro-choice because our church donates money to the Salvation Army.
I don’t know what to do?
