Do I have to go to confession even when I am aware of commiting a mortal. I want to wait another week. Also can I say the Act of Contrition after my absolution? And outside? I do not know it.
Seriously? You want to wander around for 7 more days with unconfessed MORTAL sin on your soul? You do understand what happens when people die out of friendship with God, don’t you?
Many confessionals have the Act of Contrition availble for you to recite and if not the priest will help you say it by repeating after him. Go to comfession asap.
Why would you want to sit around with a mortal sin on your soul for a week? I had to wait 48 hours for a confession time last time I thought I might (not certain) have one and that felt like an eternity. When you have a bad toothache do you wait a week to see a dentist? Just go already.
