Can it be possible for one person's consciousness to be in multiple bodies?

Ooh I know what you mean with that dream. I once had this really weird dream where I was dying and so my parents were to have a child that was me, but this child was a girl and grew quickly. I started seeing the world through both my view and hers, but she was me yet not me at the same time. How odd.
I once dreamed I was playing Leonard DiCaprio’s role in Titanic as Leo himself. That was a good time.

Perhaps more like Hinduism. Brahman as the one consciousness manifesting. As everything else. Then you got different schools with different opinion about the ā€œreality or illusionā€ of the multiplicity.

That is where I like the concept of ā€œboth/andā€. Unity and individuality, not either or.

Is this a riddle?

Well if its possible to have 7 billion eyes, then i suppose it’s possible to have 7 billion frames of reference. But how can 7 billion people who don’t have their own consciousness believe that they are their own individual? They are all you, which removes the possibility that you would not be aware that all seven billion of them are you. Unless of course your consciousness is not in 7 billion people. Or perhaps like when we have dreams, the people in our dreams are not conscious but are given the appearance of being conscious people like a robot.

Or perhaps your brain has been preserved in a vat, and scientists are feeding information or a simulation into your brain. And the year is not 2018 and is more likely the year 3557. But they are not sure because of the nuclear war and all.

You was in prison, and they offered you a deal. Either do life in prison, or become a brain in a vat. Since you are here on Catholic Answers, i can only assume that you chose brain in a vat.

Ive heard - that a demon - one demon -
can possess more than one person at the same time.

If you think about it, every single person in a dream you have is you, if it’s your dream.

Yeah, I’ve heard too. And if Satan himself causes trouble in separate places, it stands to reason it’s possible for a being who isn’t God to ā€œbe in multiple places at onceā€, which makes sense since they’re spirit. It’s just that, at least in this life, human souls don’t seem to work that way. But it’s conceivable that they could, had God willed it. But He did not, which is why I say the OP’s thought is hypothetically possible, but not possible in reality.

The biggest hurdle is how this entity/one soul would never KNOW it was all the people, since all of our realistic examples (angels, God) who can be in multiple places at once all know it. But I would think such an entity would simply have to combine the ability of other spirits to be in more than one place (in this case, united to more than one body) at once, but also have the human limit of only knowing or experiencing what its body experiences (which is mostly how our nature works in this life), so that it would only know whatever its bodies knew, and so if none of its bodies knew they were all one entity, neither would it.

Possessing both traits in tension is strange and bizarre to imagine, but it doesn’t seem conceptually impossible. It’s just not reality.

I believe the soul has weight -
I’ve watched some death bed people - placed on scales -
( they must of gave permission )
And upon dying ( and this was filmed also )
the body dropped in weight.
