Can IVF be moral?

On the subject of embryo adoption again; it appears that it drives pro-abortionists crazy, which can only be a good thing.

It brings with it its own set of serious moral issues, as indicated in the above link, but is certainly a topic worthy of discussion.

This is a very interesting topic of debate, and the door is at least left open for women to, in effect, “rescue” an embryo through implantation.

Bottom line, it’s still IVF, no?

I’m sorry, but if the Church were to allow this (the above said) they should allow all IVF to take place. So what if it’s a “rescued” embryo, it’s still a child being created in a way that’s not approved by the Church.

I’m so sick and tired of all these ****ing rules.

The point is that the embryo already exists, no matter how it was created, and is a human person. Embryo adoption could be seen as a noble thing - indeed a “rescue.” The couple adopting the embryo has no part in its immoral creation.

This is an issue of implantation - NOT fertilization - which is an important distinction.
