Can Jim receive Communion at daily Mass, and later at a retreat Mass?

Jim attends Mass and receives Communion at 0700 on Wednesday.

Later that same day, Jim begins a retreat.

Jim attends Mass at 1600 that same Wednesday as part of the retreat.

May Jim receive Communion at the retreat Mass?

Yes, a person may receive communion twice in one day as long as the second time is at Mass.
