Can laypeople use a breviary?

I was wondering if laypeople can buy a breviary. If so, what would they do with it?
 
Yes, laypeople can buy a breviary. They would use it to pray. Although laypeople are not required to read the breviary, they may do so if they wish in order to pray in union with the whole Church.
