Can looking be sinful?

Well today I went to a WWE event, and a few things that I did I am unsure about spiritually.

I don’t know if any of you follow WWE, but today it was in a city were one of the wrestlers was from and a bunch of the fans, including me, began chanting “We love Roman.”(Roman is his name) I obviously didn’t mean it, but could that classify as a homosexual act— a sin?

Secondly, the announcer for the matches is an attractive woman,and she was dressed somewhat immodestly. During the event I kept on catching myself looking around the area to where she would go after she announced the wrestlers and if I did see her, I would look away so I would not be tempted to sin. This one I am more confused about because I did look for her, but I kept catching myself and looking the other way; I don’t remember having any strong sexual desire but could that categorize under lust?

I think you’re safe on both parts. It sounds like you had a good time. Don’t sweat it. If you want to bring it up at confession I suppose you could though.

Wrestling bills itself as “family entertainment.” It is not. We love R. R. is an expression of admiration for the man and his expertise and talents. He is a cool dude. As for looking at the announcer of the matches I think you are just admiring God’s handiwork. I must admit that I watch wrestling, but now find it full of bullies and blatant and misuse of power. It is a far cry from what wrestling used to be and if I had a kid I wouldn’t take a kid there. Oh, your wondering why I watch wrestling? My brother used to wrestle and it is where my interest comes from.
