God created man in his image, in the divine image he created him; male and female he created them. God looked at everything he had made, and he found it very good.Mark 10:18 “Why do you call me good?” Jesus answered. "No one is good—except God alone.
Is Mary, god? No. So how can she be good or sinless when Jesus says ONLY GOD IS GOOD?
He does NOT have parents. So, how can Mary be God’s mother?
Well, Mary did indeed give birth to Jesus. But Jesus is BOTH Man & God. The fleshly body of Jesus is Man, the Spirit that is in Him is God.
Let’s not also forget that Mary called herself a slave/servant of God, and she too prayed feverishly with the other disciples after Christ’s resurrection for the coming Holy Spirit. She Did Not pray For the others, but WITH the others. At the 1st miracle of water to wine at the wedding in Capernaum (John 2) when she informed Jesus that the wine had ran out, Jesus replied her bluntly ‘what has this concern of yours to do with me, woman’? ‘My hour has not yet come’. This incident shows clearly that Mary has no involvement with the works of God, neither does she know what God has in store.
Jesus is NOT born of woman!
Mary cannot intercede for you just like nobody can intercede for you.
Genesis 1, 27, 31
“Therefore, you are to be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
Matthew 5, 48
And coming to her, he said, “Hail, full of grace. The Lord is with you.”
Luke 1, 28
While he was speaking, a woman from the crowd called out and said to him, "Blessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed. He replied (alluding to his mother), “Rather blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it” (cf. Lk 1:45; Mt. 5:48).
Luke 11, 27-28
Therefore the Lord himself will give you this sign: the virgin shall be with child, and bear a son, and shall name him Emmanuel (God with us).
Isaiah 7, 14
And the angel said to her in reply, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God.”
Luke 1, 35
They were overjoyed at seeing the star, and on entering the house they saw the child (not flesh) with Mary his mother. They prostrated themselves and did him (God) homage.
Matthew 2, 10-11
“And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord (adonis = YHWH) should come to me?”
Luke 1, 43
He (not human nature on two legs) went down with them (Mary & Joseph) and came to Nazareth, and was obedient to them."
Luke 2, 51
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to ransom those under the law, so that we might receive adoption.
Galatians 4, 4
Jesus is a divine person who assumed a human soul, mind, and will. Mother’s give birth to whole persons, not natures.
Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. Let it be done to me ( I freely consent to your will) according to your word” (cf. Gen 3:1-6).
Luke 1, 38
When the wine ran short, the mother of Jesus (Lord God) said to him, “They have no wine.” And Jesus said to her, “Woman, how does your concern affect me? My hour has not yet come.” His mother said to the servers, “Do whatever he tells you” (cf. Gen 3:15; Jn 19: 26-27; Rev 12:17).
John 2, 3-5
It would appear that Mary knew what her divine Son was about to do. Jesus waited for his mother to solicit him. :yup:
