As far as I know, you’re supposed to have been Confirmed, but life happens.
We are offering an adult Confirmation class right now, (non RCIA) because Father had someone come forward and say she had not been confirmed, but a Mexican priest married her anyway. He got to thinking…I wonder if there are many people out there who are lacking Confirmation as adults?
He asked the question one weekend, and a dozen people came forward.
They’re all enrolled in the class, and are going to be confirmed along with the teens in May.
Each one had their own story as to how it got omitted. The important thing is that they are getting it taken care of now.
