Can men dress immodestly?

Funny that you mention men wearing skirts.

I feel that I’m called to the priesthood, specifically to the FSSP. Their priests wear black cassocks that reach all the way to the floor, the arms all the way to the wrists, and the neck all the way to the chin pretty much.

If you look at icons of the communion of saints, for example, you’ll notice that they’re all wearing long robes that reach all the way down to the floor.

I’ve been told that women, as a GENERAL rule, aren’t turned on as easily as men are, specifically with regards to sight.
 
I think I rather see that than the shorts.

I’ve seen a few Hallmark movies on television
( not by personal choice )
and I do find some cool styles - to actually try out.

Tax refund money - some goes to new clothes shopping.
I do know too that Jesus claimed the flowers of the field had much more attractiveness than the King of Israel in his glory years - lol
 
I don’t view women as things to look at for my pleasure, thank you very much. That doesn’t mean that I’m still not attracted to them.

attraction is not equal to lust.

We are visual, but it’s more a “sum of the parts” kinda thing. For example: I wouldn’t find Jareth the Goblin King’s hair attractive on most people, but it looks amazing on David Bowie’s head.

It’s not out of modesty, though. At least, not in the sense you mean with women and skirts.
 
Then I’m pretty sure pants would be modest in this situation.
