And yet, even after this post, the posts continue to veer off into the ditch of off “topicness.” 😳

I know, I’m not accusing you of lust. In fact, I think the whole skirt thing is sounding less like it’s about modesty, and more of just your personal preference on how all women should look. Because you like pretty/feminine skirts. It’s easy on the eye. (Not in a lustful way.)

It ultimately boils down to physiological and psychological differences between men and women with regards to how they are attracted to one another.

Eh, I think conversations evolve. Maybe someone can jump in with ideas on men’s modesty…

Actually, it’s going the same direction as all of the other modesty threads. This one started out well though.

Do most men find work slacks sexier than a nice skirt though? No, so you can’t say skirts are inherently more modest.

I wear loose shorts in the summer that are cut a few inches above my knees. No way could you convince me (or anyone else) that a skirt of the same length would be more modest.

Having a hard time figuring out how men can be both tempted into lust by women in pants yet at the same time be repulsed by how unfeminine they are.

I find it hard to picture what you’re describing, but I’m not you, so I really can’t say anything.

I believe I’ve already told you that pants are modest in your situation, haven’t I?

See, the thing is men shouldn’t wear pants, because men have the sex organs on the outside of the body, and thus women are tempted to look at their crotches. It’s just biology. The temptation is less for men because you can’t tell about women like that due to their different biology.

So? There are plenty of women here and elsewhere that feel the opposite of what she writes. Why is her word “gospel” and not theirs? Only because you agree with her opinion.

I never said it was gospel.

The reason I linked to it was because there seemed to be an idea that I just subscribe to my opinion (that women should wear skirts), because it pleases me to look at such sights, which isn’t true.

There are other reasons why it is simply better for women to wear skirts.

I’m not suggesting that wearing certain clothes takes away from your femininity. I’m suggesting that certain clothes are more feminine than others.
