My husband and I were both protestants when we married. We have been married 54 years. I have been a Catholic convert for 32 years. When we married, i believe we were in Mortal sin before the ceremony. I have made a full confession before being received into the Catholic church and go to confession about once a month. Would being in mortal sin before our protestant marriage nullify the marriage?

Daer friend,

No, being in the state of mortal sin would not nullify your marriage vows. You have a valid marriage.
