I am going down to California to have my son baptised in my original parish in May 2007. My husband, who is not of the Catholic faith, may not be able attend due to a conflict in our schedule. He does not oppose or object to this baptism in any way. WIll this interfere with my plan to have the baptism?
All of our friends and family are in California (we are the only ones out of state) and this seems to be the only weekend to get everyone together (including godparents). The ceremony will also be a combination of my son’s baptism and my niece’s baptism.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank You
