Hello,
I have a question regarding my daughter. We are Catholic and have received all of the Sacraments (baptism, holy communion, confirmation…etc.) but my daughter at a young age was (20 years old) was married by a JP. Her husband is also Catholic. Are they allowed to be married in the Catholic Church?

Thank you,
Deanna

Hi,

They need to see their priest. If neither of them has had a previous marriage, they can have their marriage blessed.
