Just a fast question: Can my kids be baptized outside the Catholic Church? I think my husband (ex-Catholic) would agree to that. I just want them baptized ASAP. I’ve been praying and waiting for seven years for my husband to agree. They go to a Catholic school and we attend Mass weekly.

If your kids are going to Mass weekly and attending Catholic school, then it is fair to say they are being raised to believe in the Catholic faith. If that is the case, they should be baptized Catholic. If your husband won’t agree to that, then at least work on him to let the children make the choice to be baptized in the Catholic Church once they are of the age of reason (about seven years old). In the meantime, if one of your children is in actual danger of death, he can be given emergency baptism (by anyone). But I cannot recommend having your children baptized in a non-Catholic church.
