Can my wife and I receive the Sacraments if she had her tubes tied?

After the birth of our 3rd and 4th child (they are twins) my wife and I opted to have her tubes tied. I read somewhere recently that this will prevent us from receiving the sacraments. Can you elaborate? Thank you for your time and ministry.
