Can non-Catholics who had abortions enter the Church?

My wife had an abortion 35 years ago, with my encouragement. Now, we are both in RCIA class, looking forward to becoming Catholics. She has suffered horribly is extremely repentant of this grave offense, as am I. For the past twenty years, we have been very pro-life and are regular contributors to the Right to Life movement. Will we be able to be received into the Church and partake in the Eucharist?
 
Yes, of course. If the two of you were both baptized at the time of the abortion, you each would confess the abortion during your first confession. If you were baptized after the abortion, or if you will be baptized upon entering the Church, the abortion either was or will be sacramentally absolved in baptism and need not be confessed. In case it may yet be helpful to either of you to seek post-abortion counseling, I recommend the work of Project Rachel, which is available in many Catholic dioceses. God bless and welcome home!
