Can one become a Catholic if his spouse does not?

What is required if one wishes to become a Catholic but his or her spouse does not wish to?
 
Assuming there are no impediments to entry into the Church, such as civil remarriage after a divorce, a person is free to enter the Catholic Church while his or her spouse remains outside the Church.
