Can Our Lord show himself only to one person in a group?

I was at mass today. Following communion the priest was finishing the precious blood and then wiping out the chalice with a white cloth. I opened my eyes as he was doing this and I swear red streaks of blood were coming out on the cloth. I closed and reopened my eyes, took off my glasses and put them back on and squinted to focus and I still saw it. I am not mentally ill or on any new medications. The wine used is a light amber color. Nobody else seemed to see this though. Is it possible that our Lord can show something to just one person with others present?

To answer your question: The Lord can do what He pleases.
You will recall that he appeared to the two on the road to Emmaus and also to the Apostles.
Eucharistic miracles have been apparent to many as well.

A lot happens to a lot of people. He could show half the people something and the other half miss it entirely.

Of course, He can. Look at Fatima. Out of 70,000 witnesses present, only the three children could see our Blessed Mother.

Although during the miraculous dancing of the sun at Fatima in October 1917, many people claimed to witness Our Lord blessing the crowd in the sky. Others witnessed Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, Our Lady of Sorrows, St. Joseph (today, May 1st, one of his feast days) with the child Jesus blessing the crowds. One writer once implied that each persons degree of disposition towards God would likely be determinate as to what one would be allowed to witness, which would make sense when we think of the saintly people who have witnessed Our Lord in those particular special instances. For Example, St. Faustina!

Misapplication of that rule. People may come and ask questions about possible mystical experiences if they wish to.

That rule comes into play to stop people from shamelessly propagating an agenda in regards to private revelations.

Well, I was attacked when I came here asking simple questions. I was trying a gentle reminder before the OP was attacked like I was.

Sorry you had to deal with that. With rules like this I think it’s much nicer to allow new people to have their thread closed by the mod, and then have the rule explained, than to have a bunch of people pouncing on them when they supposedly drift into a banned topic.

Charity is a hard thing, especially on an internet forum.

Elsewhere on this forum, I think, is the story of a man who saw a picture of Christ on the wafer when the priest held it up. That led directly to him becoming Catholic. I don’t think anyone else saw it.
