Have you ever browsed around the internet and thought: How can there be anyone who thinks like that? How can there be people who honestly think that the Vatican was started by a few rich pedophiles who want nothing but to keep people under control? People who think that the United States is nothing but a corrupt imperialistic state, and all it’s enemies have reason to be disgruntled with it? People who are sympathetic towards wolves like the Jihadists in the Middle East and the Communists in North Korea?

Truth is these people have succeeded in coming into power in the United States. What you see is the manifestation of the hippies of the 60’s getting what they want. The Obama Administration has continued to support and agree with nations who publicly criticize the United State’s such as France, calling them: “Our greatest allies.”, all the while distancing the United States from it’s traditional allies.

The Obama Administration continues to sleight the Putin Administration and stir up tensions with them. China’s military is growing, and we continue to owe them more and more money. India is filled with Muslims that despise America, and due to the constant sleights of the Obama Administration against the Indian government, the rest of India’s population is beginning to despise America as well. As the United States continues to let totalitarian governments like that of Chavez in Venezuela rise up, the support of the United States in South America will drop down. To top all of this off, Iran is able to build Nuclear weapons now.

This will inevitably result in a very large war, and with the amount of nuclear weapons that will be on both sides of this war, it could result in the end of the Earth.

To add to this, we have the Nuclear power Plant in Japan that was destroyed in a Tsunami a few years ago. The reactors continue to leak a large amount highly radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean every single day. This water will reach the shores of California and Hawaii in late 2015. Also every tuna fish you eat swam in this water.

If the reactors touch each other while they try to remove them with cranes, there will be a massive explosion and more radiation will be released into the air then in Chernobyl. If they leave the reactors alone, they will inevitably melt down and there will be a massive explosion that will release more radiation into the air then Chernobyl.

In other words, all the problems we face today are beyond anyone on this Earths control. We will either die of cancer from exposure to radiation and give birth to deformed children because of the Fukishima crisis, or we will be killed in world war 3.

Our only hope lies in God. We must pray Novenas to St. Kateri and St. Francis of Assisi, asking them to pray that God protects the environment from the radiation released during the Fukishima disaster. We must also pray Novena’s to Christ the King, asking God to bless the world with strong and just leaders that acknowledge Jesus as the true King. We must pray rosaries that these radicals who have siezed power in the United States through fraudulent votes and fixed elections will either be converted or made harmless.

I do not know if this is the correct place to put this thread, I’m new to this. I’m just trying to rally God’s troops, because war is upon us, and it will consume us if people don’t start praying.

Stay in touch with your guardian angels, and keep your scapulars and you St. Benedict medals close by. PEACE

I will add St Maximilian Kolbe to your list of saints. He was the saint who went to Nagasaki and told the Jesuits to build on the opposite hill and it was that hill and those Jesuits who were protected from damage and fallout by the atom bomb. He never learned this however since he offered himself in exchange for another man’s life in a Nazi concentration camp.

I believe that prayer can change the world and that we have been saved from many disasters by prayer.

Prayer plus action can save the world… Either by itself would not.

Yes, prays can change the world. Our Lady told the childern of Fatima to pray for the sinners of the world,to do penance,to say the Rosary daily for souls in Purgartory, and Peace in the world,People will always pray, because we know that are prays are heard. People that have pray the Rosary, have had their life change for the better, for Our Lady take our prays to her son Jesus, for Jesus knows us all very well. So never give up on praying, sometimes I pray to Saints to Intercceded and ask Our Lady to help me in what I,am asking for… :harp:

Prayers can change the world, which is a different issue from whether or not they will save the world.

The world - that is, people - all have free will, and God will always respect the exercise of it, even when it is 180 degrees, dead head wrong. For prayers to change someone, they need to be open to the grace made available, and they can (and too often do) choose to reject it.

prays can change the world, for it happen at Fatima, may people who didn,t believe, were change by the Miracle of the Sun,and may of the people came from far away places. Also, may abortion places have be shut down, because people pray the Rosary, but one must believe that pray can change the world, for if we stop praying ,than we are giving into the Devil,s hand, for he want,s us to turn away from praying to God,Jesus or Mary.As long as we keep our faith strong,People pray for many differ ant reasons, for their are people praying all over the world for Peace, and not War.

Not to make too fine a point of it, but there are wars going on right now around the world.

Which is not a denial of the power of prayer.

I currently ascribe to belief that part of prayer is to draw us ever in closer communion to God as His people and to become more in line with His will.

2632 Christian petition is centered on the desire and search for the Kingdom to come, in keeping with the teaching of Christ.107 There is a hierarchy in these petitions: we pray first for the Kingdom, then for what is necessary to welcome it and cooperate with its coming. This collaboration with the mission of Christ and the Holy Spirit, which is now that of the Church, is the object of the prayer of the apostolic community.108 It is the prayer of Paul, the apostle par excellence, which reveals to us how the divine solicitude for all the churches ought to inspire Christian prayer.109 By prayer every baptized person works for the coming of the Kingdom.

2633 When we share in God’s saving love, we understand that every need can become the object of petition. Christ, who assumed all things in order to redeem all things, is glorified by what we ask the Father in his name.110 It is with this confidence that St. James and St. Paul exhort us to pray at all times.111

Certainly, prayers can change the world and like Auntie A said, I am sure that we have been saved from many disasters by prayers.

I,am glad that someone else feels the same as I do,that praying does help to prevent greater disasters, with the way some country’s are, they don,t care who they kill, because they believe they are doing it for a good reason, and they want to limit ate,us , because they said we are the Evil one,s,as long as we pray, we will be protected by God,Jesus, and Mary against those who wish to destroy us.
