Is priest allowed, during confession, to mention stuff from the previous confessions or is it under confessional seal?

I don’t know if there’s an official rule on this.Is priest allowed, during confession, to mention stuff from the previous confessions or is it under confessional seal?
That’s not enough information for anyone here to give a definitive answer. So if he does in a sense he says “as I mentioned before” and then he said something he mentioned previous confession is that break of the seal?
The confidentiality is between the confessor and the person and any designated translator. Also one that overhears or comes to know of the confession should not repeat it. There are canonical penalties for violation. This is specific to the contents of the confession and the identity of the one confessing. Is priest allowed, during confession, to mention stuff from the previous confessions or is it under confessional seal?
Sounds right to me.Why do people have regular confessors if the intent is not for the priest to get to know you and provide advice which spans multiple visits? It sounds like he just made that explicit. No problem.
When your sins are absolved in the sacrament they aren’t just forgiven but wiped away in the sense that it’s like they never existed in the first place so a priest, strictly speaking, shouldn’t bring up past sins. That said, sacraments are made for us not us for the sacraments and there is a risk that it becomes something like the Emperor’s New Clothes if both you and the priest are pretending like nothing’s gone before. So pastorally, it can be helpful for a priest to say something like your priest said to you by way of encouragement, while at the same time not losing sight of the fact that your past sins have been wiped away. Personally, I would however always respect a penitent’s choice for anonymity even if they’ve confessed face-to-face previously and I think I know them.I go to confession regularly. And last time I went to confession again after few weeks. And when I told my sins he was giving me advice and then told me “as I mentioned before you gotta do this and that” the things he already told me from previous confessions. So he sounds like he remembers me and he knows what he said to me and now he is reminding me what he said on some of the confessions from before.
