They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
Completely agree. The infant did not rape the mother and is an innocent victim too.
A raped girl/ woman has already been victimized by the rapist; she doesn’t need to be further victimized by being made to kill her child.
Absolutely agree - an example that abortion claims more victims than just the babies aborted. We shouldn’t add the guilt that comes from killing an unborn to that of having been raped. While rape is not the fault of the victim, there is still guilt that accompanies it.The infant did not rape the mother and is an innocent victim too.

A girl who is raped is indeed a victim. She is a victim of the rapist. Rape is about power - although it is used in a sexual way the intent of the rapist is to show his power over the girl. They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
There is no other crime on earth - not even treason; not even the worst kind of terrorism - where it would even occur to us to punish the victim’s innocent child with the death penalty as part of the punishment for the crime. They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
Two wrongs don’t make a right! They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
My first inclination is to say that killing off the baby produced by the rape is just adding one evil on top of another. The child is an innocent victim too. They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
Many people ask this question, but only a small percentage of abortions are done out of rape or other sexual crimes. It is still murdering the child. There is no justification to that. They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?
Yes…that is great! But if you suffer from mental illness in this society, you are tossed aside. You only get help if you suffer from physical threats…I have suffered from three miscarrages. The guilt is unberrable when a baby dies in your care. The pain from killing a baby that was conceived out of hate and fear, would be just as bad or worse even. I have also been asulted, and know the guilt you feel after.
I also have three children and an other baby on the way, and I can say that I would never abort a baby under any cercumstances.
It will take a strong, woman to go through rape, then pregnancy, and then adoption. But God will help that women grow into the most beautiful person any person could hope to know and love.
I am the wonderful wife and mother that God made me to be because of the pain I have seen.
There is help out there for all in need, let us all reach out our hands to them!
That’s very sad - as part of being pro-life, the Church should really have these organizations everywhere. There are several in my area and some of the Catholic churches put signs up about them, as well as messages in the bulletin. They do counseling, financial assistance, providing diapers, driving women and girls to doctor appointments, and things like that.I dont see any organizations supported by the RC church in my community if a girl is raped and gets pregnant…
Not morally. They did not choose to become pregnant, they are just innocent victims…Is it okay for a rapped girl to have an abortion?

I have walked in very similar shoes. This is not a judgment, but a question. If someone is already suffering from poor mental health, how could the realization that one has taken an innocent life improve the mental health of that person? It just adds one more torment to an already troubled individual. It is hard to see the light in the darkness. Adding to the darkness only serves to put the light farther away. Abortion would have been my undoing. I have seen the women who have the courage to carry “I regret my abortion” signs in Washington. They are a great witness to the healing that can take place. Too many women never find that healing, and feel they don’t deserve it.Yes…that is great! But if you suffer from mental illness in this society, you are tossed aside. I am only saying…dont judge another before you have walked a mile in their shoes and remember,…not everyone has good mental health.
Our churches also support several local organizations that not only provide similar assistance to pregnant women, but, also, post-abortive counseling. I guess it is easy to presume such services ae available everywhere. They are listed in our bulletin nearly every week and posted on our church website. That’s very sad - as part of being pro-life, the Church should really have these organizations everywhere. I’m so sorry you were raped by a family member as a child. This has happened in my family too and it is one of the most horri fic things that can happen to a person. I don’t know if you are Catholic or not, but I am praying for you, I hope that’s alright with you.
