Which bears no relation to your statement “Do you think it logical at all to legalize the murder of millions due to an event that occurs in less than 1% of pregnancies?”

Let me rephrase. Do you believe that abortion should be illegal except in cases where the mother’s life is at stake?

I think there’s other exceptions that are relevant too, I have stated my position a few times here already.

Well, let’s approach it from a different angle. You think there are some exceptions so that means there are some points where you do not believe abortion should occur.

What are they and why?

I mean, I can get the fuzzy logic that says that it is ‘legal’ and so it’s okay, or that it’s a ‘threat to the mother’s life’ and so it’s okay.

So why, then, would there be situations where it is NOT OK and why not? If it’s legal, why it is not ‘OK’ by you except in certain cases? What makes them different?

And when it is not okay, what does the death of the fetus/child THEN become?
 
Doc, y’all had a marvelous statesman over there name of Sir Winston Churchill.

Mr. Churchill once asked a woman if she would sleep with him for a million pounds and she coyly hesitated and then accepted.

He then asked her if she would sleep with him for 5 pounds. She snapped at him,“Certainly not! What kind of woman do you think I am?”

“Madam” he replied, “We’ve already established what kind of woman you are. Now we’re just dickering about the price.”

Your posts remind me a lot of that woman. We know exactly what kind of woman she is, and now she is just dickering over the price. . .

The question didn’t show a flaw in my reasoning.
Show me where I’ve posted something that amounts to what you’ve said. If you can’t, then it’s a straw man argument.

Doc, I ddn’t make any assertions about your beliefs, I asked you a question. Answering it will help to clarify what you do believe.

If you can’t answer, fine, but at least admit such rather than howling “straw man!”

Instead of inventing your own special definitions and then being upset with people for not knowing what you’re talking about, what if you were to use the words that mean the things that you mean to say? 🤷

You have defined “murder” as the killing of an innocent by a rational actor.

Is the unborn child not innocent?

Or is the doctor who performs the abortion not rational?

Or how is it that abortion doesn’t meet your definition of murder?
