Can Satan place evil thoughts or suggestions in ones thinking?

I was curious if Satan is able to influence ones behavior by placing ideas, thoughts, suggestions and temptations in one’s mind, how do you make those terrible thoughts or feelings subside when you are bombarded with them all the time?

If you pray more, they occur more often.

Obessive thoughts are not necessarily from the Satan. They can simply be a psychological thing. This is what your experience sounds like. Most people who have obessive compulsive disorder (OCD) usually think that they are being tempted by the devil and think they are very sinful people because of this. What they don’t realize is that they don’t want such thoughts and are not responsible for having them. Feel free to write me privately about this.
