Can someone belong to the Roman Catholic Church AND another church?

I was just informed that one of the teachers for my daughter’s confirmation class is an ordained minister in another church but she still claims to be Catholic. That’s not possible, is it? And how should I address this to the priest? I don’t think he’s aware of it.

You are correct that it is not possible to be a member of the Catholic Church and a non-Catholic community or church. Even more incongruous with being a Catholic would be being a minister in another faith. Either you believe the fullness of truth resides in the Catholic Church or you do not.

Since this individual is in a position of public ministry in the parish I would suggest making an appointment and discussing this privately with a priest in the parish.
