I’ve no concern over whether it is or is not, thus see no need to prove anything. Do you feel, a need to “prove” something? Your challenge to me seems prideful.This is the first and only time the Church has linked a group of people to a specific
temptation. Please feel free to prove me wrong.

I have no idea why some persons report they experience no attraction to the opposite sex and an attraction to the same sex. I have no idea why some people experience a sexual attraction to children. I have no idea why some people experience eating disorders (though medical science may have some insight regarding this). But in all these cases, the persons concerned are prone to temptations that I, mercifully, am not.
It is plain that persons in differing circumstances may be prone in different degrees to particular temptations. That does not mean that others may never experience those temptations, but it does suggest that for those others, it may be less common and more easily shunned.
I would be interested in your particular remarks on post #149, which distinguishes temptations from the circumstances of the person.
