Please I have been battling with this thought for a long time now. Since I came across the story of how satan (lucifer) was cast out of heaven together with a whole bunch of angels supporting him. Can someone still sin in heaven even when God’s presence is fully manifested?

No. It seems like you already are implying that the fall was without the full manifestation of God’s Glory.

There is no sin in heaven.

When the Angels were created, they were given a one time choice, to serve God or not. Their will was then fixed in the direction they choose. Satan and other Angels chose to reject God. That happend at their creation and they have wills fixed against God for all of eternity.

The “entertainment” version of Satan being a good angel then “going rogue” is just that, entertainment.

I’m Just confused since the great battle in revelation with the dragon and Angel Michael happened in heaven

No. Our will is attracted to the good; in the case of sin it is attracted to a perceived good or a partial good. But God is infinite good. In the presence of the Beatific Vision, our will is attracted to the infinite good.

Sin is only possible in the absence of the Beatific Vision. Both the angels and the first parents did not start out with the Beatific Vision; they first had to make a conscious choice for God or against God.

Revelation is a book with much poetry and symbolic language. It is not a literal textbook.

Not ever, his will was fixed. Peter Kreeft’s book “Angels & Demons” might be of interest to you.

The other day I read that the will to good is fixed in heaven and the will to evil is fixed in hell. Peter Kreeft articulates this in his book Practical Theology

No. Lucifer and the other bad angels who followed him were not in the heaven of the beatific vision. All the angels were tested whether they would freely serve God or not before their entrance into beatitude or the beatific vision or their fall to earth and consignment to hell. All the angels were probably created in the heavens but not necessarily in that uppermost heaven which according to the common opinion of the scholastic theologians is called the empyrean heaven as the natural abode and heavenly home for the good angels and their beatitude. Of course, the good angels are never without the beatific vision whether they are in the empyrean heaven or in other places or heavens of the visible creation such as their various administrations around planet earth and the affairs of humankind.

Rev 21:27 (DR)
There shall not enter into it any thing defiled, or that worketh abomination or maketh a lie, but they that are written in the book of life of the Lamb.
