Can the applicant stop an annulment process if he changes his mind?

Once the petition has been served on the respondent, can the applicant of an annulment process ask the tribunal to stop the process because he changed his mind? If so, can the some of money be given back to the applicant if the process was in its first stages? Thank you.
 
Yes, the annulment process can be stopped at any time by the Petitioner. The tribunal will not proceed without the Petitioner’s cooperation.
Whether some kind of refund would be issued depends on the diocesan policy.
