I have always been entertained greatly by people who think they know who the prophets and apostles of God are.
Okay Joseph, I will keep this short and simple. Your posts give me headaches. I would think that if God had chosen you to be His Apostle, as you claim, He would have given you the gift of being literate. Instead, you write inaccurately, you misspell every other word, and you have no idea what it is you are writing about. However, I do encourage you to continue your ramblings as those who may be browsing these forms can witness first-hand the lunacy that we Catholics must put up with. God bless.

Yes. You also wouldn’t need to rely on anti-Catholic material would you?

Thank you for your kind loving words. As this is not my native tounge please excuse my error it its use. Could it be that the spirit of deception that is working in your mind is being affected by my post. Headacks come as a result of the menifestation of the word cuting away the false teaching you are into. The word of God does that and it exposes deception and that which is unholy and not of God. Thus it is witen by the washing of the word, Yea are cleaned. This relates to the fact that as we read the word of God his word will clean us from the false teaching and renew our minds.
That is why every man and woman, should get deep into a very serious devotion with learning the word of Our Lord and Our God.

Peace be with you!

It’s a real shame that you feel the need to belittle others efforts in God. I’m sure you can see how this would upset people here.

Do you think that Catholics lack sincerity? That our cries to God are heard somehow less than yours are? That when we pray on our knees God refuses to hear us? Do you assume Catholics do not read the Bible? You assume too much and have too little knowledge my friend to be taken in any way seriously

It seems obvious to me that the truth of your time here is that you know something of God- you are trying to serve God to the best of your ability. You must see however, that you are lacking in knowledge. Your attacks here have demonstrating all too clearly how little you know about God’s revelation.

Christianity needs to be united- not attacking each other- the Scriptures are very clear about this.

Your personal interpretation of Scripture has pitted you against your brother & sister Christians. It has led you to a point where you have ventured here pumped up by your own sense of ego, convinced you are right, only to be shown ignorant of Scripture, ignorant of history and with nothing more than cheap shots from anti-Catholic pamphlets to put before us.

Surely you can see that this is not the Christianity that Jesus teaches us about in the Gospel?

Listen to what I and others here are saying to you- forget the anti-Catholic literature and find out about the Catholic Church for yourself. Find out about the history Christian belief, the wonderful inter-connected nature of faith and the promises Jesus made to his Church.

Salvation being obtainable through the RCC alone—A friend sent this from the Catechism of the Catholic Church: 169 “Salvation comes from God alone; but because we receive the life of faith through the church, she is our mother. ‘We believe in the church as the mother of our new birth, and not in the church as if she were the author of our salvation.’” They admit God authors salvation, but that it is only obtained through the RCC. Jesus said we must be born again to be saved, and here they say the church is the mother of that new birth, which is blatantly contrary to Scripture. The Bible says the New Jerusalem is the mother of us all, not the church. The church is the Bride of Christ, therefore, the Bride would then be its own mother, were this true. Ludicrous.
Salvation can be obtained by any free willed person all they have to due is call upon the Lord Jesus name and believe on him. So simple a plan is it not.
Jesus said all whom the Father give are mine. He never said all that the pope give are mine. Jesus has been saving people from day one he did not even take a break for the first325 years. And he has not changed he is still saving people the bride of christ is the body of believers. The church of Christ is ruled by Christ and is subject to Christ. The church does not rule over Christ and it can’t give salvation period. Only God can do that. And he does that via the Holy Spirit.
The Church is the woman of the house, and the man is away on business.
She has a great deal authority, and it is not entirely clear where the limits lie. Obviously she can invite friends round for tea, equally obviously she wouldn’t dream of remortgaging,

The Church can forgive sins, she can accept anyone as a member, occasionally she can revoke membership. However she does not ultimately decide the fate of a soul, nor would she want to.

Thank you for your kind loving words.
You are welcome.
As this is not my native tounge please excuse my error it its use.
True apostles can be understood in any “tounge” (See Acts chap 2).
Could it be that the spirit of deception that is working in your mind is being affected by my post.
Nope, since I have not been deceived, I would find that rather unlikely. I am however, leaning toward the fact that having lies and insane allegations heaped at God’s Church are a frustration, which causes anger within me. That anger, in turn, causes a rise in blood pressure, which causes my head to pound.
Headacks come as a result of the menifestation of the word cuting away the false teaching you are into.
Perhaps “headacks” are but I am talking about headaches. There is a difference. One is an actual thing that exists in this world and the other is nonsense. I will leave it for you to decide which is which.

I agree with you here Joseph. That is exactly why the Catholics compiled the Bible for mankind. That is why we use the Bible during Mass. That is why many Catholics study Scripture on a daily basis. It has been that way for almost 2000 years. What is sad is when after 1500 years, others, discontent with the Bible come, take entire books out of it, and then throw them away. They change passages within the Bible to suit their own twisted needs and wants. Subsequently, (and here’s the really sad thing) they make claims that they have that authority because they were told to do it by God and that they are true Apostles. They hurl lies at God’s Church. They pride themselves on what they THINK they know and yet are oblivious to all reason and truth. Etc., Etc. The good news is however, that despite their meager attempts to destroy God’s Church, they are doomed to fail (the Bible tells us as much). Therefore, when I say I get headaches, I also need to add that I am comforted by the fact that God is in control and His Church can endure the lies thrown against it. It has done so for 2000 years and will continue to do so.
Well, I’ll be leaving this thread now. Should you someday decide to put aside your pride, and truly desire to find out what Catholics believe, I’ll be around. If I’m not, there are millions of others who can assist you. God bless.

Your right however we listen to the Full Word of God and not just some limited boxed set Written Word that has no room for growth amongst fallible men. Sorry but you are fallible and therefore not deserving enough to preach possible error through your own conclusions of possible erroneous interpretations or your erroneous dogmas preached to you by some other fallible chap like yourself.

Thank God for Holy Mother Church. 👍

I definitely lack the patience and charity others on this forum have. There does come a time when we are told to leave a town and shake the dust from our feet. It seems that time has come.
JS, you said you are not writing in your native tongue, but there are no spelling errors in the first part of your original post on this thread. It is odd that your ability to spell correctly comes and goes. So, IMO, in more ways than one you are portraying yourself as something/someone you are not.
This is not an honest attempt at evangelization (which could be respected) or learning about the Catholic faith. (which would be great!)

Joseph, I asked you a simple question …
In Acts 5:13 we see that the people acknowledged the apostles’ special authority and DID NOT DARE to take it upon themselves. Furthermore, we see in Acts 15:6,24 & 16:4 that this teaching authority MUST be traced to the original apostles, or the authority is not sanctioned by Christ.

So tell us, when & where did you receive Apostalic authority? One must be ordained, according to Acts 1:22, through the laying on of hands by a bishop (Acts 6:6 & Acts 15:22-27), in order to teach with Christ’s authority.
… which you ignored and went off into several paragraphs that made no sense. Using scripture, please address the above biblical obections that I have with your claims.

He accuses the posters here and the Church as being deceptive - I wonder who is the deceptive one here!

You may be right but it may also be that he was copying from an anti-catholic source. Either way he is being dishonest.

Yes, some of it is quoted, but a large portion of it is not. In any case, it is fun to read the wise and informative responses of those such as Church Militant. Not that I have any wisdom to share with JS, but if I did, I’ll save my energy for someone who is sincere.
