Can the devil and his demons read our mind?

don’t think any devil or fallen angel could read our minds since we are made to God’s likeness. God is LOVE and we have that capacity to love should we choose to do so. Devils and fallen angels cannot ever love again, so how could they read the minds of those who are made to God’s likeness?
surely the goodness and mecy of God would not allow that to happen!

Although we sin we are not like the fallen angels or devils in that they were initially from heaven. What high intelligence would they have if it is not mingled with God’s love? They forfeeted that knowledge for their own lust.

No, satan does not have the ability to read our minds, he can influence them if we give him access.

And also - since God is our Father, why would He endanger us by exposing us to the malice of the devil His Son has broken, in ways against which we have (in the very nature of the case) no defence at all ? That would make God the devil’s Enabler in Heaven, & a far worse enemy to us than any devil.​

 
I find both the temptation of Jesus in the desert, and the story of Job are strong indications that Satan can not know the mind of a just person.

It is certain that only God knows the future, for Satan erroneously accuses even the innocent to God. Even the Angels await the revelation of what is to come.

Posession, though, indicates that the devil may enter into one’s heart – and it is this which is tradionally known as the innermost part of oneself (eg. to speak from the heart). It is an empty heart – clean or not – which the devil has access to. It is the heart filled with the Holy Spirit which can not be penetrated.

Well the demon could only tell you if the person who asked this question spoke their intention to some person before they wrote it.

Why would you bring this statement up, is it that the writers are being put to the test to sway them of line? No!
Satin can only relate to what is spoken or acted upon. He has NO ability to know Godly thought he will use his cunning to make a situation seem to look positive. I don’t see positity in what you have writen. God is love and He alone can love , can read our minds, can know the right time to allow satin to test us, God alone will not test us scripture states that.

The answers to your two questions is “No”, and I talk by experience.
 
However, demons can understand other languages. This is a tactic for knowing if someone is possessed.

Example: Imagine that a child is possessed. By talking to this child in Latin, and if the child is giving you feedback about what you just speak about, you can start to assume that one or many demons are present.
 
Also, God can permit to a demon or demons to read your mind (momentarily) but only to help you with your discernment and to expose the presence of demons.

Generally, it’s during a exorcism.
