Can the Divine Mercy be prayed after mass, in a group out loud? ?

Our church does the divine Mercy chaplet after daily week day mass. There is about 20 of us that do it out loud. It has been approved by our priest. We have had some vistors come in and tell us that it is not liturgialy correct, and we should not be praying the DVC after mass is this true?

As long as the Mass has finished (“Go in peace, Thanks be to God”) then people are certainly allowed to remain to pray together. Your parish is doing nothing wrong.
