Can thought occur without physical complexity? Does science require faith?

I happen to think it would be an absolutely dreadful thing if I ever did meet God. The idea of an all ecompassing dictatorial invigilation of my every thought, word and deed from the date of my birth to the death of the Universe at possibly beyond is something I find absolutely chilling.
If that’s what you think God is, then you do not know God.
Free will is hardly free will when the alternative to worshipping God in your every thought, word and deed is an eternity of damnation. An infinite punishment for a finite crime.
You assume that all choices necessarily have finite consequences.

Perfect love and goodness is freedom. It is freedom from the imperfection of selfishness. You cannot have that which finds its origin in love and goodness while at the same time eternally committing oneself to opposing perfection. If you want to be your own God, the only place you can do that is in hell.

I posted - It works sort of like a parity bit in computer code.

Now that you have exposed your firm position, be prepared for an eye opening learning experience.

Examining Coding Structure and Redundancy in DNA
How Does DNA Protect Itself from Life’s Uncertainty?
I’m sorry, I don’t fully understand what you think you’ve taught me?

That DNA has the capability to repair errors? That DNA has built in redundancy? Of course. The whole structure of any multicelluar organism is the ultimate example of multiple redundancy however, all of this capability is explicable in a biological context.

Where does God come into it?
