Can we change the world

We might not be powerful often too change it but we can. All we got to do is is remember the word,s that Jesus talk durning his Sermon on the Hill, to all those that came to listen, but the problem is were to busy into todays world, to take time to do one thing for a few minutes. (Pray). Praying can make a big differances,but some people just don,t feel it can.

We as Catholics certainly can change the world. But first we must all reunite. The first step there is to see how much we have in common with each other. I’d include the Eastern Churches and Orthodox as well. Then we’d see how few differences we have and we could begin to solve them.

Easy to say, tougher to do. But oh how we would roar if we pulled it off !

Oh yeah, it would be great. But it is easier said than done, I guess. From the very beginning, the church was a very disunited group. Some were for Peter, some were for John, others were for Paul. Back then, it was a much smaller group and still they could not unite everybody to believe in the same thing. But it is our belief that one day, we Christians would all be reunited and the Jews will come to believe in Christ. Not in the near future, but certainly before Christ’s second coming.

The Church is full of men and women who have changed the world. In every era there has seemingly been a time when the Church has been in grave danger, either from external or internal threats, and in every era God has raised up great saints. Our own time is no different. All we have to do is answer the call to sainthood, and God will change the world through us.

In 2000 years, the Church hasnt been able to create a Utopia, nor is it Her aim. And the whole idea of super-busy lives is very very new.

Even when people havent lived super busy lives in the 2000 history, the Church has not changed the world into a Utopia.

True. more so today than yesteryear. The Church has been overran, but never lost. The position the Church finds herself in today is not unprecedented, though a good reason to again address Her mission with clarity.
