I am recently engaged, my fiance is full blown southern Baptist. I on the other hand am Catholic. We want to get married, but I do not wish a Baptist marriage, and he does not wish a Catholic wedding. We have thought that maybe getting married in the Episcopal church was a medium for us? I want the Catholic church to recognize my marriage without having to compromise any of my sacraments. Is this a good idea?

No, it is highly unlikely that the Bishop would give permission for a marriage between a Baptist and a Catholic in an Episcopal ceremony. The default is for all marriages to be in the Catholic Church but a dispensation can be applied for to have the marriage in the Christian faith community of the other spouse (in this case Baptist). Marriages in a secular location are usually only permitted if one of the parties is unbaptized and from a non-Christian faith.
