Can we prove God from the scientific method?

Is this proof of a soul??

Yes.

And the spiritual rational non-material soul is proof of the existence of God as Creator.

I have an athiest friend, grew up in a fundamentalist/ calvinist church that said god doesn’t exist because I can’t prove him using the scientific method.

I got to to acknowdged after much work that the catholic church wrote the bible and Jesus existed as a real man

Help please

When studying science I can see why a person could become atheist. In certain ways there is little unique about earth. In certain other ways earth is very unique, however.

For me… what really amazes me is how tiny earth is in the universe. It is like one spec of sand out of all the specs of sands on earth, and all those specs of sand separated by vast distances like Chicago from Milwaukee. Then there are humans on earth. In the scale of things we must be much smaller than viruses.

But these viruses learned a little rational method handy in investigating the natural and physical world and we call it the scientific method. From this these lifeforms - in the scale of things smaller than viruses - deduce they’ve got the universe figured out and the more philosophical questions of why life (currently only known on earth) and the universe exist at all?

The history of science - and peer review - is filled with plenty of stupid stuff. But we don’t remember that. Why I know God exists is like… How two people in love know love exists even though the man that has never been in love postulates Love does not exist.

I was almost knocked unconscious - in a state where I was in complete doubt about the gifts of the Holy Spirit - by a priest that gently touched my hand who is said to have several gifts from the Holy Spirit. It’s a virginity thing. The atheist hasn’t had his or her virginity popped. Metaphorically.

Frankly, I don’t care if one believes in God or not. However, what really gets me intellectually are those, whether religious or atheist, that believe aliens have visited the earth. No… they haven’t. Not because of Pope or Imam or God. But because even if intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe they are not traveling over 2 million years, one way, at the speed of light to briefly abduct some hill billy, poke him and the jet off. Sorry, but we may be alone.
