Can we send others to hell?

Each person is ultimately responsible for their own soul.

However, if you encouraged or helped others to sin, then that action by you counts as a sin against your own soul.

I find it interesting that in the St. Bridget Prayers for 12 years, the last prayer says, "Blood of Christ…wash me of all my and others’ guilt of sin. " That made me think about why I would have to be washed of others’ guilt. I was thinking maybe something like what you describe. If I encourage others to sin, then their guilt of sin somehow impacts on my soul.

I’ll remember you in my prayers today.
Life can get so messy and tangled up, and trying to fix whatever we did can also get messy and tangled up.
So I’ll remember you and your loved ones as you move along in your spiritual life.

If you feel you have damaged someones purity, you can work to mitigate this by praying for them, and praying for forgiveness. You can also include your actions in confession. Finally, serving as an example for them, by avoiding these sins can help demonstrate a “way out” for them. Don’t just pray for them once and leave it at that, but include them often in your prayers, include them in a regular rosary intention, and ask for forgiveness, outwardly somehow, and inwardly. Forgiveness for you all, is quite possible.

In the case of High School bullying -

Let’s say the victim kills herself -

Everyone’s shocked -
But who’s to say…if the soul did or did not - go to Hell…

There actually are some unapproved private revelations somewhere (I forget where I read them) about some woman who abandoned her spouse, who subsequently became a drunk, left the church and went to hell, and she was somehow on the hook for that. I dunno. I can see her being responsible for her own action (leaving her husband) but if the husband chooses to react in a bad way, that should be his own fault.
This remains me of the biblical story of Dinah!

https://www.chabad.org/theJewishWom...ish/Dinah-The-Woman-Who-Made-a-Difference.htm
What is quite evident from this story is that Dinah in all probability would have influenced Esau to live an upstanding life. If not, why would Jacob have been so criticized for robbing Esau of this opportunity? Perhaps Leah accurately assessed her capabilities and knew that she wouldn’t have been able to influence him, and therefore there was no negative consequence to her prayers.

I’m sure - even when Hitler was around - during the war -
when over six million Jews were killed -
Maybe they all didn’t go to Heaven ?
No one knows how God’s Judgment seat decisions are going to be made.

I feel - that’s - the big uncertainty - concerning God.
The afterlife.
I heard this rich athiest say “ the no life “

That story about Jacob locking Dinah in a box is Rabbinic literature.
I don’t think it’s in the Catholic bible.
Yep, I know, which is why I linked to Chabad. 😃 But I remembered the story, and the conversation around it. Your post reminded me of it.
