Can we sin in a dream?

I had a dream where I committed a serious sin. In the dream, I did so even though I recognized that I was fulfilling all the conditions of a mortal sin, knowing I would need to confess it, and knowing I could not receive communion until confessing it,etc.

This may seem crazy, but do I need to confess this?
