Can you adore the Blessed Sacrament in the Tabernacle?

Greetings!

Thank you for reading my question! Our parish is working on extending their hours for adoring Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. However not all of us adorers are able to expose the sacrament so when I get there it is never done. I’m told it is okay to adore Him in the tabernacle which is there. Is that just as good? There must be a reason why we have the Blessed Sacrament exposed for adoration.

Hi,

It is always good to be able to look directly at the Host. But He is just as present in the tabernacle. I always spend my daily our before the Blessed Sacrament in the tabernacle
But whenever it is possible to expose the Blessed Sacrament, such exposure draws more people to adoration.
