I am writing regarding the Perpetual Adoration
Many thanks again for your kindness.
I was taught that we should not pray
during the one hour perpetual adoration , the station of the cross
and the Holy Rosary.
Only the beginners of the one hour perpetual Eucharist adoration can pray the Holy Rosary during the one hour perpetual adoration.
The catechism teacher for the 24 hour perpetual adoration
told us, if possible, make efforts to listen the Word from our
Lord jesus Christ during the Perpetual adoration for one hour through meditation.
This means that we have to spend much time to listen to what Our Lord tells us during the one hour adoration.
Additionally, our teacher mentioned that the station of the cross
and the Holy Rosary, are very important for Catholic members,
he told us that we can pray faithfully the station of the cross
and the Holy rosary at proper time with all family members
or parish members together at the church or at home.
Please advise me what I should pray during the one hour for
the perpetual Eucharistic adoration.
I look forward to hearing from you

Hi,

Unlike your “teacher,” the Church does not stipulate what prayers one must pray during an hour before the Blessed Sacrament. What is does stipulate is that we must be respectful and that we ought to pray.

Certainly, it is good to listen. I encourage people to focus on the Lord’s passion since the Eucharist is the living sign of it. Having a conversation with the Lord over what He endured is most approptiate at such a time.

Feel free to say to Him all this is in your heart.
