Hi,
Since the very essence of religious life is the three vows of obedience, poverty and celibate chastity, married life is pretty much ruled out. While some orders do have diocesan priests as members of their third order, such priests are only affiliated with the order, but were ordained by their respective dioceses–not by the religious order. It is conceivable that some of these priests were formerly married Anglican clergy and were later ordained to the priesthood in the Catholic Church.
