What if a person dies only baptized as a catholic and has not taken other sacraments. Can baptism and faith save him ?

Yes, you can be saved if you’ve only received Catholic Baptism. Salvation of course depends on the state of your soul and whether you are repentant at the time of death.

Becoming part of the Church is the ordinary way to come to a state of grace and be set on the way to sainthood. The Church does not teach that God has no capacity to choose avenues for a relationship with God or to find salutory repentance other than the Church. The Church does not teach us that we have to despair of the eternal fate of anyone. Instead, the Church teaches that becoming a Catholic is the sure way provided by God, a way we can trust and should not refuse.
